Fox News: US & World Headlines App Reviews

They took a great app. and ruined it. I like to read the news, and if I wanted to watch video, I turn on the TV. Now the app is all about video. Shame.

Update August 7, 2017: iPad version slightly better as the"Features and Faces" trashy section has been moved to the bottom of the main news page. iPhone version has unfortunately become a complete mess with supposed "related stories" making the news sites page disorganized and just plain messy. Its much too busy. Far too many entertainment stories. They are not news; they are gossip. Back to one star. Original review: Hey Fox, lose the "Features and Faces" section. Its trash and wastes space on the page. Also I never click on "Outbrain" "articles". Theyre trash and/or headline "baiters" too. While youre at it loose the trash story leads at the bottom of each news article. You should be above that.

Its been a year now and theyve made changes. Totally embarrassing isnt the right description anymore, its more like "not great". The app is less buggy, visually worse, marginally better editing and still redirecting to too much poorly edited content elsewhere. Landscape mode is used to switch to different content rather that viewing the current content in landscape as is expected. Still 2 stars because Fox News a is good news organization and this review tool doesnt allow me to give 2.5 stars. Its unclear who they have test their app and changes, but their current approach isnt really working.

Whoever designed the latest version of this app did a horrible job. Seriously, the app design changes like twice a year and obviously they are not willing to pay someone to do something halfway decent. Looks like app design for dummies did it. Find something better, stick with it. Today was another "Big update". I think my mom could make a better app.

Dont like the new format at all. Please go back.

While I appreciate the timely news alerts and generally enjoy reading the related news articles, I really dont want to see what they call Programming Alerts. Letting me know whats on tv tonight is not worth interrupting my workday. I wish I could opt- out. I understand the app is free, so I still think overall its worth having, but I wish it were more user-focused.

Terrible. Not really worth one star but it wont let me rate it without a star.

The app just updated on my iPhone today and I opened it. I cant believe how you have destroyed this. The whole format has changed so that there are no bullets on the top theres no pictures with bullets underneath its just totally worthless now. Are used to check to see if throughout the day for any incoming news now its worthless I cant believe you destroyed your own app!

Much more focused on news, and relegated the fluff and sex pieces to the bottom where they belong.

This update is horrible. I feel like Im reading a tabloid. Please go back or I will delete.

Love the new layout! Probably the best update ever for the app but it would be nice if there was Chromecast support.

God I thought the last version was bad...but you made it worst! Too much scrolling and the stories, videos etc are all jumbled....did a three year old design it?

Please put it back the way it was. Pictures are too big, content is disorganized. There was nothing wrong with it.

This is NOT IMPROVED‼️. Absolutely horrible ‼️‼️‼️. You were my first go to news app. Now I wont even try to read this mess. The app had been so easy to skim through and read the stories I wanted. This update is the most horrendous thing Ive seen. Please change it back.

This last update is horrible. The layout and readability is so bad, it will lead readers to stop using this app and migrate to the Apple News app.

The app is fine but one section frequently brings up articles better fit for cosmopolitan magazine. I dont care to know so much about celebrity sex lives or boob sweat.

After the CNN app got trolled because of how fake and fictional their sources and reporting is I can only imagine libs trying to troll fox but Ive never had a single issue with the functionality of the app or the news!

This is a very disappointing update. Too much scrolling to see the headlines, no way to avoid offensive pictures, everything leads to videos not written articles. I will be deleting the app.
